Or jibberjabber to most of us. Spanish people must always be in a hurry. Why must they talk so gosh damn fast? Can't they dumb it down and talk slow like the English? How romantic is it if you can't even understand half the stuff they are talking about?
All I know is that I'm learning Spanish so I don't get played if I visit South America and some latin guide misguides me with his fast talk so that I end up in the Amazon jungle only to be eaten by an Anaconda. That's why they want you to visit South America, so they can keep their national treasure alive.
