That's the real philosophy of this post. If I were poor I wouldnt be able to afford paying a mortgage payment that I've been paying for the vet. This month alone I've spent close to 800 buckeroos visiting the vet. I'd estimate that I've been to the vet about 6 times in total this month. All because of a bacterial infection that could be related to anything...bedding,treats,food,environment,lambs wool carpets?!?! At first it was just that vanilla dog causing all the issues with her redness and itchy and now the chocolate dog has bacterial infection on his foot. Plus to add to the frustration, Im much much poorer this month and cant afford to do anything much less eat. This is the responsibility of a pet owner. I can not stress enough that you should NOT dump your pets because you could not afford the payments. Having a pet may be a big responsibilty but no amount of money can bring me the happiness that these two monkey dogs give me. Don't get me wrong, I hate having to shell out all this dough and I can think of hundreds of nonsensical things I could have bought that don't compare to the love I get from them.
PS, my dogs are jerks. The pics below prove how they are "suffering" living with me instead of on the streets.

I must say I miss having a dog. Even when they get sick. It's crazy how expensive their care can get isn't. Have you looked at pet medical insurance. I'm sure there is a canadian company that supplies it.
It's been so long since I've looked at the blogs. It's great to see you're still blogging away.
