Travels and beyond to the land of the green - My Irish Travels.
One of my most favorite places to travel to is and always will be the land of the green. The people are always friendly, they speak funny, the food is always hearty and the beer is a plenty. Rolling hills of greenery, beautiful coasts, and scenery only the eye can behold upon its first glance. I get sentimental just thinking about my visit there and wish and hope that next time my stay will be longer. I've yet to see this grand country in all its glory and splendor and have more to learn about its history.
Consistently minus the exception of 2009 i have visited this country from 2007 to 2010. That's 3 major times where I've spent my hard - earned vacation from full time employment.
2006 travels consisted of North Ireland tour to Belfast and all monetary goods in Pounds, a hop and skip to Paris and London.
2007 travels consisted of a short visit to Dublin, while travelling Spain.
2008 travels was yet another short visit in the suburbs of Dublin while taking a gander of Prague and Bologna, Italy.
2009 sucked hard because I didn't get to go to Ireland. Heck even the Irish customs said I missed out a whole year.
2011 travels hopefully brings me to:
The Galway oyster festival for Sept22-26, a pint of guiness and an abundance of freshly shucked oysters. Ok I may go to Giant Causeway again (one earths natural wonders of the world).
A visit to kiss the Blarney Stone and be blessed with being even more eloquent and persuasive than I am now. I'll be double awesome once I make this trip.
The best spa experience @ eSpa I have ever endured in one lifetime at the Ritz Carlton in Wicklow. Absolutely breathtaking hotel located in Wicklow mountains, surrounded and en-gulfed by beauty. This luxurious hotel features a 5star spa and Gordon Ramsey restaurant! I would love to stay here even if it is for one night to feel like a Queen. I can dream can't I? It's not that far-fetched.
Ahhh, only a few months away before I can plan my next full trip to the land of the green. I miss you already my green jersey loving football, sheep herding, guiness drinking people.
