Recently I started looking for a two in one machine to grind and brew my coffee. I already have an awesome coffee maker and a semi-okay coffee grinder. In my attempt to minimize the number of appliances I have at home, my thought process was to buy a combination device given the price of a coffee grinder alone was in the same price range as the two in one. Little did I know I would regret my purchase. I decided to run a batch of clear water through the machine to give it a clean rinsing for the first time. As i walked away and came back a little later, to my surprise my entire counter was full of water and water was continuing to leak from every crevice of the device. Suffice to say , I packed it up and off it goes back to Home Outfitters for a refund.
I will stick with my awesome coffee maker and cheapy coffee grinder in lieu of an overpriced two in once grinder coffee maker that leaks water. Maybe it was defective, but it surely was not an enjoyable first purchase. Not all Krups products suck as much as this one. I have a waffle maker that is superb. I don't recommend coffee maker grinder but I do recommend the super awesome waffle machine!
