Hermes Scarves - Crash Course

Recently in my little shopping sprees, I have passed by the Hermes store on Bloor multiple times but never going in. I spot those special little Hermes scarves and covet them through the window. I hope to own an Orange box of my own one day. Maybe I can score an insider invite to the Hermes sale, which would be the only justification I can get to owning a scarf at a discount price.

With that being said, on my trip to France a few years ago, I noticed that French women have a "je ne sais quois" way of accessorizing with scarves. Whatever way they wear it, it just looks chic. For those of you new to the scarf world, I've included some pictorial tutorials on the multiple ways to wear Hermes Scarves or any scarf for that matter.

Louis Vuitton New Collection 2010-2011

The new LV collection for Fall2010 is giving a throwback with a 1940s-1950s vibe.
The only exception I can note in the new campaign is the massive abundance of cleavage! The dresses are amazingly tailored and works with the campaign.
I do love that Christy Turlington is in the campaign, she's a classy lady who embodies the image that Louis Vuitton is portraying. Karen Elson and Natalia Vodianova look great as well.

Check out the lace effect on the Speedy bag. I love it. I can't wait to touch and see it in person. However the cost will likely be high due to exclusiveness and likely to be a limited edition product. Check back here for details on availability.

Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Speedy 25.

My summer wardrobe wouldn't be complete without the Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Speedy 25. How did I end up settling for the smaller bag and not the bigger? Being the usual "Go BIG or Go home" kinda girl that I am, I didn't want to lose numbness in my arms from having to carry a giant sized bag that I've stuff with junk like shoes, a book, numerous gadgets I wouldnt use on a single workday and who knows what else. So having finally opened my eyes outside of Monogram and considering other LV, I figured I would finally look at the white with blue Damier Azur design created by LV in 2007 (I know I'm 3 years late)! Either way, this is the perfect go to bag. It is versatile for everyday use and great for travel for those of you who like to jetset in style. The compartment is big enough (even though its the smaller of the style) to fit the following items currently in my bag:
1) Water Bottle
2) Bill fold wallet or Check style wallet
3) Makeup case
4) ipod/iphone/ipad or whatever mp3
5) Mobile Device
6) A book yes a decent sized paperback
7) Numerous pens
8) Sunglasses and case
9) A pair of flip flops (for walking to the train station)
10) Gum

See that's a pretty comprehensive list. The great thing about LV is that you can dress it up or dress it down. In fact Im the type of person who likes to mix plaid like material with stripes. Black with white, and who knows what else. You "rock it" any which way you like as long as you're confident. You just spent 800+ dollars on a bag for christ sakes so use it everyday and don't have any regrets!
